I am a PhD student in the Computer Vision Group at the University of Bonn, supervised by Prof. Jürgen Gall. My research focuses on multimodal learning, foundation models, and representation learning. I am also involved in PhenoRob and AgriScienceFM. Previously, I received my MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bologna and worked as an R&D intern at Datalogic in the US.

Aug 23, 2026 Our patent application “Systems and Methods for Produce Recognition in a Retail Environment” was published.
Mar 31, 2026 I will start my PhD at the University of Bonn under the supervision of Prof. Jürgen Gall in May 2026.
Mar 26, 2026 I received my MSc in Artificial Intelligence (110/110 cum laude) from the University of Bologna.
Jun 17, 2025 I will give an oral presentation of my paper at the ArgMining workshop @ ACL 2025 in Vienna.
May 21, 2025 My first paper, “Leveraging context for multi-modal fallacy classification in political debates” was accepted at the ArgMining Workshop @ ACL 2025.
